Gaylene Moldt comes to us from South Florida. Gaylene's hospitality industry started straight out of college in 2002 where she was a part of Hyatt's food and beverage training program at the Hyatt Regency Tampa. She then moved back to her home town of Fort Lauderdale and became a catering manager at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66. Gaylene specialized in weddings and social events. With some movement in the city, Gaylene found herself at The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, a boutique hotel nestled on Fort Lauderdale's Intracoastal Waterway. The Hilton was a newly renovated property and she was brought in to help build their wedding and social market. December of 2010 Gaylene was awarded the SUNSational Service Award from the Broward County Convention and Visitors Bureau, a great testimonial of her dedication to her brides and clients. On a personal side, Gaylene and her husband enjoy spontanious days out exploring new areas and supporting "locally grown" restaurants and organizations. If there is live music playing they are quick to make a detour to check it out.
